Drink Like a Local

The Shed Restaurant opened in 1965 in Stowe and has remained a Vermont staple for nearly 50 years. As the social and après-ski epicenter of one of the biggest and baddest ski hills in the Northeast, many spirited conversations and tall-tales took place under the roof of the original Shed. The spirit lives on in every batch of Mountain Ale and IPA that we brew.

Nosedive Porter

New to the Shed family of ales, Nosedive is available on draught and in 22oz. bombers throughout Vermont. This robust vanilla porter is dark brown with ruby highlights. The aroma is heavy on notes derived from aging with Madagascar vanilla beans. The use of roasted barley, chocolate and black malts give this brew slight notes of chocolate, coffee and roast. This medium to full bodied beer features a warm alcohol finish with a medium to low presence of hop bitterness. Primary bittering derived from the dark, roasted malts.
